5.1.1. Legal Responsibilities

We take our responsibilities seriously, including legal accountability and have therefore established an incorporated company which only provides impartial certification services. Our Companies House registration number is 13258540.

5.1.2 Certification Agreement

For each client we work with, there will be an agreement stating the purpose of the agreement, which will be in line with the requirements of ISO 17021;2015 standard, and the fee.  Clients with multiple sites or other organisations within them that are in scope will each have a legally enforceable agreement as necessary.

5.1.3 Responsibility for certification decision

Assurco retains the responsibility and authority for all certification decisions made under this certification management system including: awarding, maintaining and refusing as necessary, expanding and reducing scope and withdrawing, suspending and restoring certificates. 

This includes accredited certification provided by Assurco to our partners such as ATC Certification.
